Abstract
⺠We evaluated two sites with different contamination input in Southern Brazil coast. ⺠Molecular and biochemical biomarkers from Mytilus edulis tissues were analyzed. ⺠Changes in some investigated biomarkers were found in mussels from the polluted site. ⺠Environmental monitoring programs in this region could employ biomarkers analysis.
