Abstract
⺠Remote sensing with field observations is effective for mapping benthic environment. ⺠Macrobenthos habitat in tidal flat is influenced by various benthic environments. ⺠Topography, exposure time, sedimentary facies and channel network are key factors. ⺠GIS-based artificial neural network is an effective tool for habitat mapping.
