Abstract
⺠Water quality index-sensitivity-canonical correlation analysis methods were applied. ⺠Organic pollution was the most serious threat in the region. ⺠Oil and grease and lead were the critical variables violating the standard. ⺠There was no significant relation between inorganic pollution-physical variables. ⺠Statistical and index methods can be useful tools in WQM.
