Abstract
⺠We examine the response of the algal community to sewage nutrients in tropical tidal creeks. ⺠Phytoplankton productivity and biomass increased in response to sewage. ⺠Benthic microalgal biomass increased but productivity did not. ⺠Algal pigment proportions did not change with sewage inputs.
