Abstract
⺠New results about sewage input into an Antarctic area are presented. ⺠Higher concentrations of organic markers were observed around Brazilian station. ⺠Human activities may contribute negligible levels of faecal sterols in sediments. ⺠The new effluent treatment system appears to reduce the influence of sewage inputs.
