Abstract
⺠Long-term monitoring of seagrass allowed effective assessment of oil spill impacts. ⺠Seagrasses were not impacted due to mitigating factors. ⺠Declines in seagrass associated with natural seasonal change. ⺠Demonstrates value of critical habitat monitoring in high risk shipping areas.
