Abstract
⺠We examine in situ transport conditions (turbulent diffusion and advection) within a seagrass habitat. ⺠Habitat fragmentation increased horizontal diffusion. ⺠Habitat fragmentation did not affect to retention time of solutes. ⺠Vertical gradients on horizontal diffusion were estimated from hydrodynamic measurements.
