Abstract
⺠Levels of contamination by PCB and DDT for Stenella coeruleoalba dolphins stranded on the french Mediterranean coasts, from 2007 untill 2009, are determinated. ⺠Studies are carried out in the blubber, the liver, the muscle, the kidney, and the lung of the dolphins. ⺠The significant difference in levels of contamination between the organs allow to establish the following sequence of contamination: liver > kidney > muscle > lung. ⺠Observations are consistent with the various works on the Mediterranean Stenella coeruleoalba. ⺠Results confirm the trend in the reduction of the contamination of dolphins, by organochlorinated compounds, in the Mediterranean Sea.
