Abstract
⺠Mussels were collected from 10 countries from Asia-Pacific regions. ⺠We analyzed emerging pollutants, synthetic musks and benzotriazole UV stabilizers (BUVSs). ⺠Ubiquitous and widespread distribution of these pollutants were found. ⺠The concentrations of emerging pollutants are comparable or greater than those of legacy POPs. ⺠This is first study of large-scale monitoring of synthetic musks and BUVSs in Asia-Pacific coastal waters.
