Abstract
► Karenia mikimotoi which is the representative of marine dinoflagellate was studied. ► This algal proteomics was investigated integrated with ecophysiological characteristics. ► The first exploration of its proteomic responses to environmental nitrate stress. ► Some interesting homolog proteins were discovered concerning proliferation and toxin. ► The proteomic mechanisms related to nitrate stress were hypothesized.
