Abstract
► Hydropuntia cornea can biofiltrate seabream effluents efficiently. ► Positive effect of increased radiation on MAA accumulation was found in H. cornea. ► N-depleted conditions decreased MAAs and increased acid polysaccharides in H. cornea. ► MAAs can be used as UV screen substances and antioxidants. ► Acid polysaccharides can be used as immunostimulants.
