Abstract
⺠A review is made of benthic fish sample data for the Eastern English Channel. ⺠Reductions in abundance are evident for several species since dredging commenced. ⺠Comparative analyses with ICES data for plaice and sole suggests change is localized not regional. ⺠A new impact model is suggested that takes into consideration fish entrainment.
