Abstract
⺠High levels of POPs were found near sewage discharge and industrial areas. ⺠Ubiquitous contaminants were PCBs, DDTs, CHLs, and CBs. ⺠POPs levels were moderate to high compared to other urbanized regions worldwide. ⺠Areas of expected ecological risk were identified. ⺠Temporal trends in POP levels were influenced by input pathways at two sites.
