Abstract
⺠OTs were quantified for the first time in the upper flanks of the Nazaré canyon. ⺠Levels are lower than the ones reported for other offshore and deep sea areas. ⺠OTs levels are lower in the canyon and higher in the adjacent coastal area. ⺠The reported levels are higher than the EAC set for TBT in sediments.
