Abstract
⺠We analyzed 5 years of marine debris removal data. ⺠Developed and tested a spatial hot spots map to target high debris locations. ⺠The method of removal and contractor identity affects amount of debris removed. ⺠The supply of debris currently exceeds the removal effort. ⺠The spatial hot spot map is a new tool for limiting debris search area.
