Abstract
⺠Biliary excretion is an alternative way to evaluate metals exposure in fish. ⺠Liver and bile trace elements were correlated by Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). ⺠Significant correlations were observed for some trace elements in bile and liver. ⺠The ANN shows show that metals in bile can be used instead of liver concentrations. ⺠Bile is proposed as being used instead of liver as a metal exposure bioindicator.
