Abstract
► We investigate the influence of mangrove reforestation on the accumulation of PCBs. ► Both natural and the restored native mangrove forests rehabilitate PCBs pollution. ► The exotic species Sonneratia apetala is not recommended here for its aggravation of PCBs.
