Abstract
⺠Levels of mercury and PCBs are indicators of seafood safety and ecosystem health. ⺠Restricted range, locally caught species were investigated for mercury and PCB content. ⺠Mercury and PCB levels average ten times less than federal concern levels. ⺠Seafood safety recommendations for local seafood should be made at the water body scale. ⺠Consumer seafood cards.
