Abstract
⺠Ecological risk assessment should include multi-species population modeling. ⺠Indirect effects through prey loss may occur when cohort survival is food limited. ⺠Northeast Arctic cod cohorts are highly sensitive to prey loss at the larvae stage. ⺠More knowledge is needed on how oil spills affect zooplankton prey of cod larvae.
