Abstract
⺠A sediment disposal trial to restore estuarine morphology and ecology is evaluated. ⺠Multiple channel system with ecologically productive tidal flats is improved. ⺠No negative ecological effects are detected. ⺠Macrobenthic community recovers rapidly, but is not enhanced.
