Abstract
⺠Human fecal pollution is evident along the urbanized coastline of southeast Florida. ⺠Inlets contribute microbial sewage contaminants to coastal waters and reefs. ⺠Sponges may be excellent in situ biosensors for viruses associated with sewage.
