Abstract
⺠The sorption behavior of a complex system consists of DDT and CTAB onto marine sediment was studied. ⺠Batch experiments were carried out to investigate the kinetics and thermodynamics. ⺠The presence of CTAB could remarkably accelerate and enhance the sorption of DDT. ⺠The sorption of DDT had relatively more negative ÎG0 and ÎH0 in the presence of CTAB.
