Abstract
⺠The sedimentary impact of scallop dredging is modelled in the Firth of Lorn, Scotland. ⺠Dredge tracks lie adjacent to important reef habitats. ⺠Most of the sand-dominated sediment settles within tens of metres of the dredge track. ⺠Far-field levels of persistent, finer particles are low compared to the natural background.
