Abstract
⺠Roughly 36,000 (range 23,000-56,600) pieces of debris in the area, mostly Styrofoam. ⺠Areas of wildlife-debris overlap are often far from cities; interactions are missed. ⺠Stranding response networks may need funding to target remote, but high-risk areas. ⺠The resulting snapshot of mammal necropsies should be as representative as possible. ⺠Necropsy results do not always feed back into a centralized, accessible database.
