Abstract
⺠Mangrove constructed wetlands purifies mariculture effluent sufficiently. ⺠The three mangrove species grow well under high salinity and continuous flooding. ⺠Avicennia marina and Lumnitzera racemosa are more tolerant to continuous flooding than Rhizophora stylosa. ⺠The presence of mangroves improves pollutant removal of microcosms.
