Abstract

âº There is little information on accumulation of trace elements in marine mammals. âº We measured 21 trace elements in harbor seals stranded in the North Sea coast. âº Unique body distribution of trace elements was observed. âº Growth and nutritional status were significant factors on trace element accumulation.
