Abstract
ⶠFlat sheet ECTFE membranes continuously TIPS-cast using dibutyl phathalate as the latent solvent. ⶠMorphologies produced ranging from isotropic to anisotropic with either dense or porous skin. ⶠCooling rate determined to be the most influential parameter controlling morphology. ⶠCo-extrusion of diluent increased membrane mean pore-size and permeability. ⶠUniaxial stretching increased membrane mean pore-size and permeability in a manner that suggests either increased porosity or pore connectivity.
