Abstract
ⶠMWNTs/BPPOqua membranes were prepared by in situ amination with triethanolamine (TEOA), which crosslinked MWNTs and polymer (BPPO). ⶠHydrophilic zwitterions containing the quaternary ammonium group and MWNT-carboxylate are formed in the membrane. ⶠThe permeation flux of the MWNTs/BPPOqua membrane can be improved and the selectivity can be simultaneously maintained well. ⶠA synergy between MWNTs and TEOA contributes to the better membrane performance.
