Abstract
⺠Compared to raw or alum-coagulated water, ozonation of MIEX-treated waters produced less bromate. ⺠Bromide removal by MIEX resin increased with increasing resin doses. ⺠MIEX resin treatment resulted in greater removal of TOC than alum coagulation. ⺠Treatment with alum and MIEX resin significantly reduced the ozone demand. ⺠MIEX resin or alum in combination with ozone significantly reduced the THMFP of the waters studied.
