Abstract
⺠We experimentally induced a suspended particle peak discharge from a WWTP. ⺠Peak behaviour was monitored during retention in a surface flow constructed wetland. ⺠Suspended particles were buffered in CW by sedimentation and mineralisation. ⺠Minor elevated levels of pathogens and dissolved nutrients detected in CW outflow.
