Abstract
⺠Method for separation of colloid-bound organic pollutants (OPs) has been developed. ⺠OPs were frequently detected in dissolved and colloid phases in contaminated waters. ⺠OPs in contaminated waters are predominately bound to colloids or truly dissolved. âºÂ OPs sorption to colloids are controlled by partition and is well correlated to KOW. ⺠OPs partitioning, mobility and associated risks have to be re-assessed.
