Abstract
► Pseudomonas stutzeri NT-I can aerobically volatilize soluble and insoluble selenium. ► The volatilization rates are higher than those of other reported microbes. ► Recovery of 82% selenate (0.5 mM) was accomplished through biovolatilization.
