Abstract
⺠We successfully used the SPEARpesticides bioindicator to quantify the effects of pesticides. ⺠Pesticides from wastewater treatment plants affect macroinvertebrate communities. ⺠Wastewater treatment plants are still an important source of oxygen stress. âºÂ Wastewater treatment plants need to be considered in river basin management.
