Abstract
⺠Estuarine AVS-rich benthic sediments are highly susceptible to sea-level rise. ⺠Rapid trace metal mobilization occurred with increasing seawater concentration. ⺠Trace metal mobilization occurred without oxidation at near-neutral pH. ⺠Mobilization was due to increased ionic strength and competitive desorption.
