Abstract
⺠Anisotropic advection-diffusion TRT/MRT/L Lattice Boltzmann schemes are extended. ⺠Anisotropic relaxation rates and/or anisotropic equilibrium are analyzed for stability. ⺠Available anisotropy range is examined for minimal and full velocity stencils. ⺠Numerical diffusion is canceled for all approaches except the L-model. ⺠The TRT model with isotropic rates often gains in effective stability and accuracy.
