Abstract
⺠Fluxes from neutrally buoyant sediment traps and surface-tethered traps agreed in most months of a three-year time series. ⺠Removal of swimmers and determination of process blanks were important methodological considerations. ⺠Undersampling by sediment traps as a cause of the Sargasso Sea carbon imbalance is not supported by this data.
