Abstract
⺠A system that generates daily forecasts of water-quality and likelihood of species presence in Chesapeake Bay is described. ⺠Species predictions are generated using a mechanistic-empirical approach. ⺠The hybrid approach used to forecast species can be applied universally if sufficient local assets, e.g. data, exist.
