Abstract
⺠We combine ten years of opportunistic and research vessel data. ⺠We describe the spatial distribution of juvenile plaice in the North Sea. ⺠We show how juvenile plaice moves from the nursery areas into deeper waters. ⺠In 2000-2010, the distribution shift of young plaice to deeper waters has continued.
