Abstract
- Brick grain (BG) prevented the aggregation of Fe0 in Fe-BG nanocomposite.
- Solar light, H2O2 and citrate enhanced oxidative dye removal during Fenton process.
- Citrate was used as a buffer to maintain circumneutral pH of reaction.
- The degradation process mainly occurred via hydroxyl radicals (OH) formation.
- Fe0-BG proved to be efficient photocatalyst with high stability.
