Abstract
- The quaternary systems 1-propanol-KCl-NH4Cl-water at 298K was tested.
- Increasing the concentration of 1-propanol favored the yield of the solid.
- Low temperature favored the yield of the solid and has little effect on the purity.
- High KCl/ NH4Cl (w/w) favored the yield and purity of the precipitation at 283 K.
- The purity of KCl can be >98% when KCl/ NH4Cl (w/w)Â =Â 3/1.
