Abstract
► Ionic thermosensitive polymers incorporating a hydrophobic component were prepared. ► Transition temperature of the polymer decreased by incorporating a hydrophobic component. ► Cationic thermosensitive polymer was used in combination with anionic polymer. ► Consolidation of a suspension occurred near room temperature using dual ionic polymers.
