Abstract
The shape identification for incompressible steady-state Navier-Stokes problem is considered. We propose an algorithm based upon a combination of the classical shape sensitivity analysis and the level set method. The adjoint method is used to derive the optimal system for the shape gradient of the cost functional. The promising features of this algorithm are illustrated by two benchmark numerical examples.
