Abstract
Quite recently, Behforooz (2009) [2] introduced a new approach to construct integro-quintic splines, that requires seven additional end conditions. In this paper, we propose five end conditions that allows to simplify the construction of this spline. The proposed algorithm is very easy to implement. The convergence in approximating function values and its derivatives up to five order is proved. Numerical results illustrate the efficiency and higher approximation ability of the method.
