Abstract
⺠First report of PVA as flocculant for kaolin suspension. ⺠Flocculation efficiency is a function of PVA molecular weight, pH and nature of surfactant. ⺠Low molecular weight PVA at pH 4 in presence of cationic surfactant gives best performance.
