Abstract
⺠CFD simulation of the laminar fluid flow in a flat circular filtration cell. ⺠Design modifications lead to a sharp increase of velocity and wall shear stress. ⺠Experimental nanofiltration flux dramatically enhanced with the new designed cell. ⺠Addition of grooves on the cell top showed intense wall shear stress fluctuations.
