Abstract
⺠As(V) transport at neutral pH using an SLM with Aliquat 336 is quantitative in 5 h. ⺠A multi-valent AEM is also effective for As(V) transport under similar conditions. ⺠HAsO42- is suggested to be responsible for As(V) transport in both systems. ⺠The presence of other anions do not affect SLM and AEM As(V) transport efficiency. ⺠SLM is the most appropriate in terms of As(III)/As(V) speciation.
