Abstract
⺠Gas sparging was employed in clarification of pineapple juice by microfiltration. ⺠It could significantly enhance critical flux and limiting flux. ⺠Reversible fouling but not irreversible fouling could be reduced by gas sparging. ⺠Gas sparging did not affect phytochemical properties of the clarified juice.
