Abstract
⺠The hydrodynamics of the PPSB is predicted by a heterogeneous non-isothermal model. ⺠The superficial gas velocity has considerable effects on CO2 removal efficiency. ⺠The approach to saturation temperature affects considerably the removal efficiency. ⺠Ca/C molar ratio does not influence the performance of the reactor. ⺠CO2 inlet concentration affects the kinetics of reaction of CO2 and Ca(OH)2.
