Abstract

- The insoluble organic matter in ordinary chondrites is D-rich.
- There are almost no D- and 15N-rich hot spots in OC IOM.
- IOM in OC and CC show similar structural and molecular evolutions upon heating.
- The organic D-rich component in OC is resistant to high temperature.
- The IOM of OC may contain a small amount of OM from ISM.
