Abstract
ⶠA three-bed PSA cycle for methane/nitrogen separation is simulated. ⶠThe cycle can give high purity, recovery and productivity. ⶠThe novelty of this PSA separation is the combination of rinse and equalization steps. ⶠThe effect of increasing the number of equalization steps in the cycle is studied. ⶠThe theoretical power requirement is lower than the one reported for membrane systems.
